The Game

Currently in development is the main project of Spindle games; a first person shooter.

It has been split into 5 major components, all developed by PT (He makes the software/development tools, others will use them to make the game):

LEVEL DESIGNER

PT has already finalised the level editor for outdoor enviroments. A years work and DEREK has all the functions for a good game. Objects, terrain, textures, export and import options and brand new techniques for ultimate game design.

WEAPON INTERGRATION

Using 4 or 5 testing weapons, including the R870, AK47, MP7, F1 and attachments, applications are in development to intergrate guns into the system. However, these applications are being fast tracked for instant integration (basically PT cant be stuffed doing it properly yet)

MULTIPLAYER

Going under testing now as a 2d tds, a small and corny version will be soon be avaliable to finalise the system. Thanks to Mounce, the server is ready to host the game. A top priority.

PLAYERS

Using a developing system of rotation and dynamic movments with different body parts, animated people are soo to come.

PLOT

We have a basic plot summary here however feedback is reccomended. PT will, however, write the ending.

Hoepfully it will be situated in more field enviroments (PT likes them best) but there will be urban too city boys!

Anyways, you play as a Australian commando, rank probably LCPL (We need a name for him, too!)

1. Traing/introduction involves 10 year old paintball and later, Afghanistan deployment.

2. Next, while on patrol at a ammo dump on australian soil, you are attacked. the fight takes you to Scotland.

3. More random groups attack australia inclding Yemen. You get help from Russians, Scots, ect

4. You find out that they were hired by Ecuador to weaken Australias defence

Basically, all you need to know is Ecuador v Australia
